Gary Vasilash

Vasilash is the editor-in-chief of Automotive Design & Production magazine, a publication of Gardner Business Media. Vasilash has been with Gardner since 1987. During his tenure, he has been the editor-in-chief of Production magazine, Automotive Production magazine, and Automotive Manufacturing & Production magazine, before the current position. (All of which is to say that there is a continuous improvement ethos at work.) 

Vasilash is also the co-host of “Autoline After Hours,” a weekly webcast that includes live interviews with some leaders in the auto industry. He has been quoted in a number of places, from USA Today to Inc. to National Public Radio. He has given presentations to a wide variety of groups, ranging from manufacturing technology companies to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He is also a juror for the North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) Awards.
