18-04 - Coulombic Efficiency and the Effect on Energy Usage and Ecoat Performance

Standard: $29.00
Members: $19.00

Description

Coulombic efficiency is defined as the number of coulombs (Amp*seconds) of electric charge required to deposit one gram of ecoat solids from the ecoat bath. It can vary considerably depending on the bath makeup; contaminants can reduce the bath's efficiency and increase the power (and cost) required to deposit the same amount of film. Learn about coulombic efficiency, how it impacts costs, and the importance of system maintenance to prevent contaminants from entering the bath. Conference GOLD sponsors: Axalta Coatings Systems, BASF Corporation, George Koch Sons, LLC, PPG, Therma-Tron-X Inc.
