Joe Subda

Joseph (Joe) Subda is a Senior Product Specialist at Axalta Coating Systems. In this role at Axalta’s Mount Clemens, Michigan, manufacturing location, he provides facility and process support to the central offices of Axalta’s largest OEM customers. Joe began his career with Axalta in 1986 working inside the Ford facility in Edison, New Jersey. He joined Axalta’s E-coat product group in 1990 providing global support to in-plant personnel. 

He is the author of more than 20 papers on paint-related topics at worldwide conferences and more than 15 global magazine articles. Additionally, he is the co-author of the book “Electrocoating: A Guide Book for Finishers.” His work has been patented in multiple countries. Joe received a Brewer Award during the ECOAT16 Conference. The George E.F. Brewer Award has been presented since 1990 to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of electrocoating in the categories of technology, application and promotion.
